This file travels with the deployment and is served at https://halic.studio/placeecho/NOTICE.txt. ========================================================================= Third-Party Dependencies ========================================================================= ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Server-side (npm) — resolved at install time, not distributed here ------------------------------------------------------------------------- compression — MIT — https://github.com/expressjs/compression cors — MIT — https://github.com/expressjs/cors csv-parse — MIT — https://csv.js.org/parse/ Express — MIT — https://expressjs.com/ ws — MIT — https://github.com/websockets/ws ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bundled in this source tree ------------------------------------------------------------------------- These files ARE distributed here, and their notices must travel with any copy of this tree. The full license text for each sits beside the files it covers. Everything in this section is also served to browsers except where an entry says otherwise. Typefaces — frontend/fonts/ IBM Plex Mono — SIL OFL 1.1 — © 2017 IBM Corp. IBM-Plex-Mono-OFL.txt Inter — SIL OFL 1.1 — © 2016 The Inter Project Authors Inter-OFL.txt Gelasio — SIL OFL 1.1 — © 2022 The Gelasio Project Authors Gelasio-LICENSE.txt Noto Sans SC / TC / JP / KR — SIL OFL 1.1 — © 2014-2021 Adobe Noto-Sans-SC-OFL.txt Noto Serif Tibetan, Noto Sans Arabic, Noto Sans Mongolian, Noto Sans Yi, Noto Sans New Tai Lue, Noto Sans Tai Le — SIL OFL 1.1 — © 2022 The Noto Project Authors Noto-Scripts-OFL.txt These six declare no Reserved Font Name; they are served as GeoSonTibt / GeoSonArab / GeoSonMong / GeoSonYi / GeoSonTalu / GeoSonTale. Only subset woff2 builds are bundled, which makes the shipped files Modified Versions as the OFL's DEFINITIONS section defines the term. All four Noto faces DO carry a Reserved Font Name. Their name tables read "(c) 2014-2021 Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/), with Reserved Font Name 'Source'." The reserved name is 'Source', and the subsets are served under the family names GeoSonHan / GeoSonHanTW / GeoSonHanJP / GeoSonHangulKR (frontend/terrain-gl2-atlas.js), none of which contains it, so OFL condition 3 is satisfied. IBM Plex Mono, Inter, and Gelasio declare no reserved name. Noto-Sans-SC-OFL.txt covers all four Noto faces. It is the upstream OFL 1.1 body; the copyright line quoted above was absent from the bundled copy and has been restored to its head, since OFL condition 2 requires the notice to travel with the license text. lil-gui — frontend/vendor/lil-gui/ MIT — © 2019 George Michael Brower — LICENSE.md https://lil-gui.georgealways.com/ Carried in the tree but no longer served: its only callers are the design-mode editor and the tune console, both of which scripts/build-pages.js excludes from dist/. The notice still travels with any copy of this source tree. The deployment carries this entry only because it carries this file; nothing of lil-gui itself is deployed. ========================================================================= Data Sources ========================================================================= The upstream global products are not distributed here in their original formats. This source tree does include project-specific Google Earth Engine CSV exports under data/raw/, browser-ready derivatives under frontend/generated/, and one upstream dataset carried verbatim (data/worldcities.csv). Those extracts, derivatives, and that dataset remain subject to the source terms below. Every Earth Engine product below, including each one licensed under CC BY 4.0, appears here and in the deployment only in MODIFIED form. The scripts in gee-scripts/ reduce each product to per-cell statistics (sums, means, percentiles, class shares, seasonal amplitudes and the like) on this project's 0.25 x 0.25 degree grid (data/raw/SCHEMA.md), and frontend/generated/ holds further reductions of those statistics. None of those products is shipped as published. For the Earth Engine products above that name an asset id (the `PROVIDER/...` form), the licence terms and citations reproduced here are those published in the Earth Engine Data Catalog entry for that id, which is the id the export scripts in gee-scripts/ read. Several lines are not in the catalog and come from the producers instead: - ESA WorldCover: the copyright and Copernicus Sentinel lines, which are the map attribution text ESA asks for at https://esa-worldcover.org/en/data-access; - WorldPop: the copyright line, after the WorldPop website (https://www.worldpop.org/), whose footer carries a WorldPop copyright notice and gives the University of Southampton as its address; - MODIS: the authors and years, from the LP DAAC product pages the catalog entries point to; - VIIRS: the Earth Observation Group notice, from the producer's own licensing document cited in that entry, which disagrees with the catalog on the licence. A producer's attribution request is kept alongside the catalog's terms, never dropped because the catalog does not repeat it.
